TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Before you confirm your place on one of Ghostly Detectives investigations you are agreeing to the following Terms and conditions set by Ghostly Detectives

 

* Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on Ghostly Detectives investigations. If you attend one of our investigations under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs or any member of staff suspects you are under the influence, you will be ejected from the investigation with no refund.

* Smoking is strictly prohibited from any Ghostly Detectives location. There will be designated areas outside the location for people who wish to smoke. If you are found smoking during an investigation or inside the location you will be asked to leave with no refund.

* If you are found to be abusive or aggressive or commit assault to any member of the public or staff member during a GhostlyDetectives investigation you will be removed from the venue with no refund and reported to the Police.

* All persons attending an investigation must be over 18 years old .

* No transport or accommodation is provided by Ghostly Detectives for any event.

* A standard 20GBP cancellation fee applies to any person(s) wishing to cancel their place on an investigation. If any person(s) wishing to cancel their place outside 30 days of the event will be permitted a refund minus the standard 20GBP Ghostly Detectives cancellation fee. Refunds are not permitted inside of 30 days of the event.

* YOU are attending a Ghostly Detectives investigation at your own risk. Our investigations are conducted in supposed haunted locations with Paranormal activity, each investigation is mostly conducted in the dark. Ghostly Detectives are and will not be liable for any accident, injury or death caused to yourselves or others under any circumstance. It is advised that all people attending an investigation have their own third party public liability insurance.

* Before the investigation starts on the night you will be allocated a group and will be guided by staff members for your own safety and enjoyment. It is paramount that you STAY WITH YOUR DESIGNATED GROUP AT ALL TIMES. Should you feel unwell, scared or for any other reason you wish to leave the group you will have to inform your group team leader who will then arrange for you to leave safely. 

* You are not required to stay on the investigation until the end of the event, you may leave at any time, no refund is permitted. Ghostly Detectives is not liable for any accident caused to yourselves or others after attending an investigation, please bear this in mind if you have not had any sleep previous to the investigation or are feeling tired after the investigation due to events taking place overnight.

* Due to the nature and settings of Paranormal events it is not advised to attend if you suffer from heart conditions, Anxiety or depression or any other nervous disposition. We also recommend that pregnant person(s) do not attend. In all circumstances highlighted in this section it is advised to gain advice from your GP prior to the event.

* You must inform the team of any health problems prior to an event. Please note that some investigations will include steps, walking and uneven floors. If this could be a problem please check before booking. It is advisable to wear suitable footwear.

* All locations must be respected, and house many items of value and antique which cannot be replaced. Any person(s) who causes damage or steals anything belonging to the location will be liable for cost and prosecution. Ghostly detectives will have no liability in such cases and will not be made responsible.  

* Ghostly Detectives are not liable for any messages  or information given to any person(s) by any medium, psychic or clairvoyant during any investigation or event. Any messages or information given by any medium, psychic or clairvoyant are not the views taken by Ghostly Detectives.

* All personal belongings, bags, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. Ghostly Detectives are not responsible for the safe custody of participants’ property for its loss, damage or theft. 

* During an investigation you will be using paranormal equipment which is the property of Ghostly Detectives. Any person(s) found causing misuse or vandalising any equipment or property used, will be liable at that person(s) own cost. GhostlyDetectives will actively seek reimbursement for any loss or damage caused by any person(s) on all investigations and events. Any persons found stealing any property of Ghostly Detectives will be reported to the police and prosecuted.

* Ghostly Detectives cannot guarantee any paranormal activity to take place on any investigation or event . We do not offer any form of refund should no such activity take place. WE DO NOT FAKE ANY ACTIVITY and will not tolerate any person(s) taking part on any investigation or event faking any activity. If any person(s) is found causing fake activity they will be ejected from the investigation with no refund. Our investigations and events are taken seriously by all attending.

* By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organisers/promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from my participation in the activity. 

GHOSTLY DETECTIVES CAN CHANGE CONTENT OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANYTIME WITH NO WARNING  

SHOULD GHOSTLY DETECTIVES HAVE TO CANCEL AN EVENT DUE TO UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES EACH PERSON WITH A VALID PLACE ON THE INVESTIGATION OR EVENT THAT HAS BEEN CANCELLED WILL BE GIVEN THE CHOICE OF CHANGING TO AN ALTERNATIVE EVENT ON A DIFFERENT DATE. IF THE ALTERNATIVE OPTION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO ANY PERSON(S) AFFECTED, A PARTIAL REFUND MAY BE GIVEN . ANY REFUNDS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF GHOSTLY DETECTIVES MANAGEMENT AND ARE NON NEGOTIABLE.
